Quakertown Memorial Planned for Texas Woman’s University

Main Street is honored to be working with Ten Eyck Landscape Architects and HKS Architects on a multifaceted memorial to the historically Black community of Quakertown, in Denton, Texas, which was displaced a century ago by a predecessor institution of the university. The memorial will include an amphitheater, trails, and interpretive nodes distributed throughout a wooded glade on the TWU campus.
