Main Street Design has been selected to provide interpretive planning, exhibit design, and environmental graphics design for the Houston Zoo’s new Texas Wetlands exhibits, working in collaboration with Studio Hanson|Roberts, a leading zoo exhibit design firm. The exhibits will feature American alligators, whooping cranes, and bald eagles while celebrating the diversity and environmental importance of the state’s native wetland habitats.

Main Street Design is pleased to announce that we have been selected to undertake a comprehensive redesign of the Jekyll Island Museum, in partnership with The Weber Group, a leading design-build firm focused on the entertainment and hospitality industries. The new Museum will tell the deeply intertwined stories of nature and culture over hundreds of years on this beautiful and historic protected barrier island on the Georgia coast.

We are pleased to announce the completion of Wildlife on the Edge at the Seneca Park Zoo in Rochester, New York, a comprehensive re-interpretation of the Zoo’s existing Rocky Coasts zone that gives exhibits a fresh new look while updating content and messages to reflect current conservation science. The new components also incorporate whole body interpretive play activities, including life-sized silhouettes of the three North American bear species.

Main Street Design is delighted to announce the completion of the Houston Arboretum & Nature Center's new Savanna Field Station – the first in a series of satellite interpretive destinations to be located at intervals along the Arboretum's trails. Main Street Design has been selected by the prestigious Cornell Lab of Ornithology to develop and design new interpretive exhibits and experiences for the Lab’s Visitor Center at Sapsucker Woods, just off the Cornell University campus. Recognized worldwide as a leading ornithological research institution and a vital resource for birders and scientists alike, the Lab and its adjacent natural areas and trails are a destination for visitors from around the region and around the world.

Main Street Design is delighted to have been selected by the Arlington (Virginia) Public Schools and Quinn Evans Architects to provide interpretation for the Stratford Middle School, in conjunction with a major renovation and expansion of the school being designed by QEA. In February of 1959 Stratford became the first public school in Virginia to be integrated, when four brave African-American young people entered the school building and joined the until then all-white student body.
