Main Street Design recently completed the development, design and fabrication oversight of interpretive components for a comprehensive transformation of the Riverbanks Zoo & Garden's Aquarium and Reptile Center. Main Street is in the middle of documenting the interpretive exhibits for the Montana Heritage Center, a new 50,000sf state history museum in the capitol, Helena. The Dauphin Island Sea Lab, a marine biological research center and public aquarium located on a popular barrier island off the Alabama coast, asked Main Street to help them craft a new vision for their future. Working with our longtime colleagues at GLMV Zoos and Zoo Advisors we facilitated an intensive brainstorming workshop focused on leveraging the Lab’s cutting edge research to create unique guest experiences. The result is a clear and actionable framework for repositioning DISL.

Main Street is honored to have been selected to provide interpretive planning and design for Wild Utah at Utah’s Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake City with CLR Design. The Zoo’s newest attraction, located on a beautiful, naturally vegetated site along Emigration Creek, will explore the diverse wildlife and habitats of the Beehive State, with a focus on stewardship and respect.
