Main Street’s President, Michael Mercadante, will be a featured speaker at the popular On the Boards session of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums 2020 annual conference. Every year, this highly selective session showcases innovative exhibit projects that are still in the design or construction stages.
Michael will join Gretchen Zeigler, Director of the Sequoia Park Zoo in Eureka, California, and Becca Hanson, Principal at Studio Hanson|Roberts, to discuss our collaborative work in progress on the Zoo’s new Native Predators zone, which includes back bear and coyote habitats, a redwood canopy interpretive sky walk, and a redwoods discovery center focused on the natural history and cultural heritage of California’s coast redwoods.
