For the workspace of Manulife’s international currency trading division Main Street created interior environmental graphics spanning two full floors of the company’s Back Bay, Boston office tower. An entrance corridor celebrates the brand while highlighting the organization’s philosophy, capabilities, team, awards, and global locations. Graphic interventions range from discrete, small-scale room name plaques to full length floor-to-ceiling wall murals, all exploring international currency themes.
This rich and evocative visual context is simultaneously decorative and informative, illustrating a diverse range of monetary instruments while providing a cohesive, consistent and supportive context for Asset Management staff. Conference rooms are named for different currencies, making them easier to remember and differentiate. Translucent film coverings on glazed walls provide appropriate privacy while evoking the beauty and variety of global currencies, past and present.
