Michael Mercadante: Hosts Thea Awards

As President of the International Board of the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA), Michael Mercadante hosted the Thea Awards Gala at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California on Saturday, April 15th. This global event has been honoring achievement, talent and personal excellence in our industry for a quarter of a century and this year’s slate of recipients include extraordinary people and projects from around the world – with six (6) from the Asia Pacific region and three (3) from Europe, including the first ever from Poland. They are also extremely diverse in nature, including museums, a cruise line, a National Park, theme parks, attractions, a parade, a water park, and technology.
